Bar Louie Plans Big New Year's Eve Celebration

Those who are looking to ring in the New Year in style, they won't have to travel far. Bar Louie Gainesville's New Year's Eve celebration may be the hottest ticket in the area.

According to General Manger Landon DuPont, the New Year's Eve party will feature live music provided by the Jason Dean Band, reserved seating, premium cocktails, a champagne toast and a breakfast buffet from midnight to 2 p.m.

DuPont feels that the party is a opportunity for residents to come experience the "true vibe" of Bar Louie.

"Our New Year's Eve parties are the true sense of Bar Louie," he said. "It's what we do."

DuPont said he is also investigating having taxi cabs standing by for guests.

The nearly sold out party is a private event that patrons must purchase tickets to attend. The bar will be closed to the public from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

DuPont said he also plans "a big giveaway "that night and looks forward to watching everyone have a good time.

"I'm sure the tables will be pushed aside to create a dance floor," he said.

For any questions and to purchase tickets, residents can call 703-754-2048 for more details.
