Jimmy Buffett Returns to Bristow for Labor Day Concert

Parrotheads rejoice! Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will continue the tradition of performing in Bristow on Labor Day, this year complete with tailgating.

Buffett brings his “Louging at the Lagoon” Tour 2012 for one night only at Jiffy Lube Live on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 8 p.m.

“We are delighted to have Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band return for their 25th performance in Bristow, VA,” said Matt Rogers, General Manager of Jiffy Lube Live. “We look forward to celebrating Labor Day Weekend with another great show.”

The band will play in support of the summer release of their live CD/DVD, which was recorded in Las Vegas in October.

Earlier this year, Jiffy Lube Live reinstated tailgating at the venue, much to the delight of fans.

Their tailgating policy specifies that grills and festive loitering in the parking lot will be allowed, but consumption of alcoholic beverages in open containers are banned. In addition, aisles much be kept clear and tents and canopies are not permitted.

While Jiffy Lube Live banned tailgating last year, it did not ban the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages purchased on the premises, which management stated would better control the consumption of alcohol by minors.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, Apr. 14 at 10 a.m. to the general public at Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at (800) 745-3000. There is an eight-ticket limit per customer. Ticket prices subject to applicable fees.
