Football fans, show your Bristow spirit. Root for the Patriot Pioneers at their 7:30 home game against Forest Park. Sat., Sept. 15 Get ready to go on a treasure hunt through all your favorite shops in Old Town Manassas. Starting 9 a.m., it’s Old Town Merchant Sidewalk Sale. For back to school shopping, or to get an early start on Christmas shopping, it’s the place to be. Don’t oversleep; it’s all over at noon. Early afternoon, leave the shopping bags in the car, and come to Old Town Manassas for Bands, Brew and Barbecue Festival on Main Street and Battle. Enjoy a variety of specialty brews, live entertainment and specialty vendors including Silpada Design, Party Potpourri, Stella & Dot and more. There will also be an antique car show and old world style festival! Enjoy! For those of you who are looking to flashback to the 90's and rock out this weekend, we've got the DC101 Kerfuffle coming to Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow. The Kerfuffle festival features some of your favorite ska/punk and alternative bands such as Sublime with Rome playing all the hits, Shirley Manson’s Garbage and The Offspring, a band which gained popularity in the 90s with “Keep Um Separated” and kept up the heat until “Days Go By” this year. Anberlin, Dead Sara and Foxy Shazam will also be performing, making this DC101 festival one not to be missed. Tickets range from $32-69 before fees and taxes. Sun., Sept. 16 Sunday is the last day to check out the death-defying acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil TOTEM at the National Harbor. Feats of human strength matched with state of the art technology and talented performers make this a circus for the ages. Prices range from $33-153.
