The Second Stage Theatre in Winchester presents “The Spitfire Grill.” A young woman just out of prison takes a job at the Spitfire Grill in this moving tale of redemption, based on a film by Lee David Zlotoff. More information on the Shenandoah Conservatory Performances website.

Come see the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra at George Mason University’s Center for the Arts in Fairfax at 8 p.m. This performance features world-renowned flutist Christina Jennings, and the famous works of American composer Charles Ives.  Il Fornaio on Market St. in Reston Town Center will hold its Umbria and Neighbors wine tasting at 4 p.m. Il Fornaio offers an elegant and contemporary dining atmosphere along with delicious fresh Italian food.
