“Technicolor Dream” Auditions

The Pied Piper Children’s Theatre Group of The Candy Factory “Center for the Arts” in Manassas will be holding auditions for  kids 8-19 interested in taking part in the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on Fri. Feb. 10 and Sat. Feb. 11 at  6 pm- 8-p.m. Call backs will be held on Sunday.

Aspiring actors should arrive 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Bring a small photography of the child.

Prepare a short monologue (approx. one minute), such as a scene from a play or poem, the child could read dramatically.

Also prepare about 16 bars of a song to sing acapella.

The audition fee is $10. There will be a $190 fee if cast.

Rehearsals are held Mon. and Wed. at 6-8:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

Performance dates are May 12, 13, 19, 20 at Garfield HS.
