Eight Prince William County Businesses Included on Inc. Magazine's Fastest Growing List

Prince William County now boasts eight companies in industries  on the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest-growing, privately held businesses in the country. These businesses span seven industries including government services, marketing, IT and education. Board of County Supervisor Chairman-at-Large Corey A. Stewart claims the success of these businesses represents "the pro-business stance the county has fostered over the last decade." “These rankings are a concrete indication of the positive trajectory of businesses in Prince William County,"  Stewart said. "We have taken advantage of our proximity to the nation’s capital and our highly skilled workforce by providing a low taxation, low regulation haven for entrepreneurs to create jobs in the Washington Metropolitan region.” Dumfries-based FederalConference.com, a government services company that placed second on the list, attributes their success to the professionals that they were able to recruit in the area. “All the praise goes to my employees. The workforce that I’ve found here in Prince William County is highly talented, trained and certified. The professionals on my team know how to work together to plan events that are productive and meaningful yet within budget and efficient," company President Paul Trapps said. Likewise, Todd Harf, of Creating Results, despite living in Rhode Island, established his marketing firm in Prince William County because of the availability of a highly educated workforce and its location in the Washington Metro area. “Prince William County is a great place to have a business because it provides easy access to the entire Washington Metropolitan area for all of our team members and a more affordable cost of doing business,” said Harf, whose company has made the list four times in the last 20 years. Other companies that made the the Inc. 500/5000 list include:
  • Dito, an IT Services company that brings companies into Google’s cloud.
  • Woodbridge-based law firm Fluet Huber + Hoang, a company that has seen an 812 percent growth over the last three years.
  • Water education programs provider SwimKids
  • Manassas-based, family-owned and operated New Horizon Security Services, a business that provides security officers to both government agencies and private companies.
  • Commercial and residential services provider MidAtlantic Contracting
  • Government services company Best Value Technology, which demonstratedn  a89 percent growth in revenue over the past three years.
