Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt Opens Easter Sunday

At long last, Bristow will have it’s own frozen yogurt shop, and it’s opening on Easter Sunday.

Rufus Manning, owner of the Bristow Orange Leaf, is excited to open the family-friendly frozen yogurt concept after months of preparing the location.

“We know that Easter is an important family day, and we could not think of a better day to have our soft opening. Plus, it worked out that way, because we received our final approvals,” Manning said.

While Manning has high hopes for a successful “soft opening” on Sunday, he is planning a more formal grand opening in the near future.

“This is just our soft opening and a way to work out any kinks. We hope to have a grand community opening in the coming weeks, and we ask everyone to “Like” us on Facebook for any pending announcements and specials,” he said.

Orange Leaf Yogurt is located next to Safeway at the Braemar Village Plaza. The store will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“What has focused on is creating a great product along with an overall environment for people who like froyo. It’s very bright, warm, welcoming, with contemporary furniture,” Manning said. “It hearkens back to the old ice cream parlor days.”
