After much speculation and two confirmed tenants, Peterson Companies announced on Monday three additional retailers and four restaurants that will be opening at the Promenade at Virginia Gateway in Gainesville.

“In addition to the Regal Theater, fashion favorites Ann Taylor Loft, White House/Black Market and Soma will offer residents expanded fashion options,” said Peterson Companies Vice President of  Corporate Marketing & Communications Angela Sweeney.

Last week, Houston-based fashion accessories retailer Charming Charlie confirmed that they will open a store in the Gainesville retail center.

Residents’ restaurant options at the Promenade will include Bar Louie, Nando’s Peri Peri, Pinkberry and La Tagliatella.

“La Tagliatella, the European based Italian restaurant concept has over 130 restaurants globally in Europe and Asia and Promenade will be one of the first ten to open in the United States,” she said.

The 300,000 square foot lifestyle center will offer an upscale mix of retail, dining and entertainment with “pedestrian-friendly streets and a dedicated events plaza.”

The 14-screen Regal Movie Theater will anchor the Promenade at Virginia Gateway  and is scheduled to open in Fall 2013.

“Virginia Gateway is one of our most successful projects and we are pleased to welcome these high-quality merchants to Promenade at Virginia Gateway and further enhance the retail, dining and entertainment options for the Gainesville community” said Taylor Chess, Senior Vice President, Retail for The Peterson Companies.

Construction for the center is underway and the Peterson Companies anticipate opening in Fall 2013.
