The Peterson Companies, the developer of the Promenade at Virginia Gateway, has announced three new tenants that are opening at the lifestyle center located in Gainesville.

Cava Grill, Orangetheory Fitness and Lenscrafters will join the other retail stores and restaurants.

Cava Grill, a health-minded Mediterranean-themed restaurant, will open a 2,600 square foot restaurant this summer. The fast-casual chain, which spawned from the Rockville-based Cava Mezze, offers vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly options, fresh juices, mixed “greens and grains” bowls, with local ingredients.

The restaurant will be located across from Charming Charlie.

Orangetheory Fitness plans to open a 4,400 square foot studio this spring, next to Sprint (in the area between Nando’s Peri-Peri and Regal Cinemas). The chain differentiates itself from other fitness centers through its 60-minute, five zone heart-rate monitored interval training concept..

Fort Lauderdale-based Orangetheory Fitness has opened more than 250 studios in the U.S., Canada and U.K., since the company launched in 2010.

Lenscrafters, the largest optical retailer in the United States, also plans to open a 3,500 square foot  store located next to the future Orange Theory Fitness later this summer.

The Promenade at Virginia Gateway is a 300,000 square foot retail center, which offers an upscale mix of retail, dining and entertainment. Businesses include Loft, White House Black Market, Francesca’s, Trummer’s Coffee & Wine Bar, Firebird’s, BJ’s Brewhouse, the recently opened Uncle Julio’s and Mod Pizza, and a 14-screen Regal Theater.
