Brentsville Supervisor Presents 'Drug Abuse' Info Session

Screen Shot 2016-05-18 at 5.04.19 PMBrentsville Supervisor Jeanine Lawson, along with Prince William Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), will hold a town hall information session on the dangers of drug abuse, Tuesday.

The information session “Hidden in Plain Sight: Drug Abuse in Prince William County," is scheduled for May 24 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Patriot High School.

The DEA will specifically talk about the rise in heroine use. Heroine has risen to epidemic levels in the United States. Prince William County is not immune.

According to Prince William Police, heroine and other drugs have caused overdoses and deaths in recently years.

The information session will provide resources on how to combat the problem.

Patriot High School is located at 10504 Kettle Road in Nokesville.
