Identical twins Blair Miller and Brittany Penksa and who grew up in Bristow, did everything together, and now they are pregnant at the same time.

Each is expecting her first child. Brittany is due April 1 and Blair is due April 11. Both are having girls.

Being twins, Penksa and Miller experienced all of their major life moments together such as learning to walk and talk. They even married within 10 months of each other, with Brittany marrying first in autumn of 2014 and Blair in spring of 2015.

They did not plan to get pregnant at the same time, but when they suspected they were expecting, they shared the news with each other first. Then, they scheduled their first OBGYN appointment back to back to confirm.

When sharing the news with their relatives, they said they would call up a family member on three-way. One twin would say, “I’m pregnant,” and the other, “me too!”

The sisters say that everything in their lives had followed a similar trajectory, and now they live in the same neighborhood and remain extremely close.

“The names that we picked out are very, very similar,” said Penksa. “I don’t want to reveal them yet, but I think we’ll go with names that are very close.”

“I’m curious if they are going to look similar or not,” said Miller.

Penksa said the best part is the cousins will grow up together.

“I think it will be cool for them too. To have someone to grow up with like a built in best friend like we had,” Penksa said.
