The Nokesville-Bristow Ruritans will hold their famous Brunswick Stew Sale/Fall Festival is this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m at Windy Knoll Farm on 11602 Kettle Run Road, Nokesville (near Fitzwater). Stew will be ready at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Visitors are invited to stay or carry-out their stew. Stew is being sold for $9 or 11 for $100. To pre-order, contact cgmelusen@comcast.net.
For those who plan to stay, there will also be a local vendors, farm animals, tractors and possibly a moon bounce. Rudy Youth groups from Bristow and Nokesville schools will also be selling cider and baked goods.
The money raised helps the Ruritans and Rudy-Youth groups, who do good work, giving back the community.
