Photo by Ashleigh HenegarThe Manassas Park Police charged Fuhard Kaloko, 35, of Woodbridge for texting while driving and following too closely after he allegedly struck a Prince William County school bus Wednesday morning.
According to police, no students were injured in the accident, which occurred on Manassas Drive near the railroad tracks.
"Students were transferred to another school bus without incident," a spokesperson said.
While the school bus sustained minor damage, the 2006 Hyundai Sonata driven by Kaloko sustained extensive front end and fire damage.
The suspect's court date is May 19, 2016.
