Gainesville Town Hall Transportation Meeting @ Ronald Reagan Middle School
May 30 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Del. Danica Roem (D-13th District) and Supervisor Pete Candland (R-Gainesville) are holding a transportation Town Hall, May 30 at 7 p.m. at Ronald Reagan Middle School.

VDOT staff will be there to answer questions.

The meeting will address various transportation concerns, including traffic on I-66.

Everyone is welcome.

Note from Supervisor Candland:

Dear Friends,

Like most everyone in our community, I spend more hours than I would like on our area’s roads commuting to work and shuttling around my children to their activities. So I know how frustrating all our district’s transportation issues can be, whether they be potholes on roads near our homes, or the massive backups on I-66.

Since we rely heavily on VDOT and the State Legislature to help solve these issues, I’ve scheduled a Transportation Town Hall with VDOT officials and Delegate Roem for 7:00 p.m. next Thursday, May 30th at Reagan Middle School to give our community a chance to hear directly from VDOT on their plans to help fix our roads, and for them to hear directly from you about your concerns and problems.

This will be the first in a series of transportation town hall meetings that I plan on holding with members of our State Legislature and hope you will find these useful.

I hope you’ll be able to attend and if you have any questions, please reach out by email or call (703) 792-6195. Finally, I ask that you share this email with friends and Gainesville district neighbors so that they may attend as well. Thank you again for your support.
