Prince William County Police are investigating the theft of a BMW automobile in Bristow Tuesday morning.
The car was stolen from the 11700 block of Robert E. Lee Drive in the New Bristow Village Community at 6:52 a.m., police said.
According to a resident, other cars on the block were found opened this morning with various items missing.
"The keys [to the BMW] were in an opened car glove box in another car," she said.
The investigation is ongoing. Bristow Beat will update the story when more information becomes available.
