Virginia State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash in the westbound lanes of I-66 between the Route 29 and Route 15 exit.
VSP spokesperson Corinne Geller confirmed there is one fatality.
As of 11:00 a.m. westbound I-66 is closed at the crash site and traffic is being rerouted.
PWC Scanner Bums is reporting two Medivacs were dispatched.
