A 16-year-old Bristow boy told Prince William County Police that a driver of a 4-door Honda sedan fired shots following an argument Monday night.
The victim said he was walking in the area of Rollins Ford Road and Estate Manor Drive in Gainesville when he was involved in a verbal altercation with the unknown driver.
"As the victim was walking away, he heard several gunshots," police spokesperson Officer Nathan Probus said. "The driver then fled the area and police were contacted."
The teen was not injured during the incident.
He was not able to provide police with any suspect information.
