Prince William County Police report that unknown individual(s) broke into a residence at the 74400 block of Sudley Road in Gainesville and stole jewelry and ammunition valued around $19,000.
According to the homeowner, the burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 19.
"Entry appeared to have been made through a front door where the suspect(s) accessed the lock by breaking a window next to the door," said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.
