Image: Red Roof Inn ManassasPrince William County Police are searching for a black male, 27 to 30 years old who robbed two California women at the Red Roof Inn located at 10610 Automotive Drive in Manassas early Thursday morning.
According to the victims, a 21-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, an unknown man knocked on the door to their hotel room.
"When the victims answered the door, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "The suspect took the victim’s cell phone and money before fleeing the area."
Police report that no one was injured.
"This incident does not appear to be random," Perok said.
Investigators describe the suspect as 5 feet, 11 inches to 6 feet, 210 lbs with a thin build, dark complexion, short black hair and a beard; he was last seen wearing a black pea coat style jacket with a white shirt underneath, black pants and black shoes.
