Aden Grocery Robbery Suspect Apprehended by U.S. Marshals

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force apprehended Jason Wayne Critzer, 28, on July 30 for the burglary of the Aden Grocery Store in Nokesville.

According to police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok, the accused  had been sought on active warrants for the July 12 break-in.

"The accused was located at an address on Cupids Dart Court in Manassas and arrested without incident," Perok said.

Critzer, of no permanent address, was charged with burglary, grand larceny, possession of burglarious tools and destruction of property.

Store surveillance cameras captured an individual stealing numerous items from Aden Grocery located at 13717 Aden Road in Nokesville at 1:30 a.m., July 12.

“Once inside, the suspect took two cash registers, containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, and cigarettes,” Perok said.

After investigating the scene and reviewing the surveillance footage, the police reported that the suspect appeared to have used a crowbar to enter through the front glass door.

Court date and bond information are currently unavailable.
