After investigating a burglary attempt at Virginia Oaks Golf Course in Gainesville on Saturday, Prince William County Police responded to another in Haymarket a day later.
Police report that unknown individual(s) attempted to break into an Evergreen Country Club garage located at 15900 Berkeley Drive.
According to the staff, the attempted burglary occurred between 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 6:00 a.m.on Nov. 18.
“Unknown person(s) forced entry into the garage by kicking open the doors," said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok. "No property was reported missing; however, four golf carts and the grounds were damaged."
Damage is estimated to be around $2,500, he said.
