Drug searches at Battlefield High School and Reagan Middle School resulted in pending charges for a student for possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to Prince William Police, school resource and K-9 units allegedly discovered a Battlefield student in possession of drug paraphernalia on school grounds.
Police said no arrest was made.
"Charges are pending and have not been placed against the student yet," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said.
A search of Reagan Middle School turned up no drugs.
"These searches are performed routinely at different schools in the county and are not in response to any public concern," he said.
