MarstellerMiddleschoolThe Brentsville Town Hall to be hosted by Brentsville Supervisor Jeanine Lawson and School Board representative Gil Trenum has been rescheduled once again.

The new town hall has been rescheduled for Monday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Marsteller Middle School located at 14000 Sudley Manor Drive in Bristow.

The Brentsville-Gainesville School Board Town Hall previously scheduled for this evening at Haymarket Elementary School has been canceled due to weather. That meeting has not yet been rescheduled.

Should it be rescheduled, the Brentsville-Gainesville School Board Town Hall will be hosted by School Board members Gil Trenum and Gainesville School Board member Alyson Satterwhite.

Both meetings will allow for public input on the county budget and funding priorities. At the Brentsville Town Hall, residents can weigh in on the tax rate. While the Prince William real estate tax rate has been advertised at 1.122, the supervisors can still vote to decrease it.

At the school board meetings, residents can help School Board members set priorities and find areas for budget reductions. The School Board is still looking for $9.1 million in savings to help employee step increases and class size reductions.
