Bristow Man Charged in Domestic Incident

Prince William County Police have charged Kevin James Debery, 31, of Bristow with strangulation and domestic assault & battery stemming from a domestic incident Sept. 5 in the 10000 block of Orland Stone Dr.

The victim, a 39-year-old woman of Bristow, told police that she and Debery, an acquaintance, were allegedly involved in an argument, which escalated.

"During the encounter, the accused held the victim down on the bed and began to choke her," police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. "The parties eventually separated and police were contacted."

The victim reported minor injuries.

Police arrested Debery following an investigation of the incident.

Debery's court date is pending and he is held without bond.
