Former Fairfax County high school football coach and teacher, Jeffery Reagan, 44, of Bristow, pleaded guilty Thursday to dealing steroids.

The Washington Post reports that Reagan faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced on one count of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.

Reagan, who coached football at South County High School for several years and taught at Mountain View Alternative Learning Center, was most recently associated with the West Springfield High School football program.

After a seven-month investigation, Fairfax County Police detectives charged Reagan with possession with intent to distribute steroids and conspiracy to distribute steroids.

Police arrested Reagan on Wednesday, June 13 in the Sully Plaza Shopping Center where he allegedly met his illegal steroid supplier around 1:30 p.m.

Jeremy Helbing, 35, of Leesburg was also charged with distribution and conspiracy as his alleged supplier.  He will appear in Fairfax County General District Court later this month.
