Bristow Woman Discovers Intruder in Dining Room

Prince William County Police are searching for a Hispanic man who broke into a residence in the 9000 block of Falcon Glen Court in Bristow Sept. 17 and encountered the homeowner.

According to the Bristow woman, she encountered the intruder after she went to check on her dogs who were barking on an upper-level floor.

"When the homeowner went to check on her dogs, she observed an unknown man standing in her dining room," police spokesman Officer Perok said. "The man claimed to be on a delivery and promptly exited the home."

Perok said the man never identified himself or the company he worked for during the encounter.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, between 30 and 40 years old, 5 foot  8 inches, 160 lbs with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and black shorts.

Police reported no property missing from the incident.
