ManassasPoliceAn employee of Battlefield Ford in Manassas is asking residents to be on the lookout for tools stolen from the dealership Nov. 11.

An individual broke into the dealership and stole a 2002 Ford Taurus as well as the tools, machines and tires, which are valued at $10,000.

Manassas City Police arrested Anthony Humbry, Jr., 51, of Woodbridge for the theft Nov. 11, following an accident in Fauquier County.

"Moments after issuing a lookout, officers were notified by Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office that the stolen vehicle had been involved in an accident in Fauquier County and the driver was in custody," a police spokesperson said.

According to Liz Jones of Manassas Park, an employee of the dealership, the burglary occurred between 7 p.m. Nov. 10 and 6 a.m. Nov. 11. Humbry allegedly broke the glass out of one of the bay doors.

“He had about $10,000 worth of tools stolen, including Snap-on, Mac, Matco, Ingersoll Rand, Craftsman air tools, wrenches, sockets, ratchets etc.,” Jones said. “Another tech had tools stolen from his box; multiple tools were taken that belonged to the shop as well.”

Police have recovered the car, but Jones said the tools are still missing. She asks that residents monitor local Facebook yard sale groups for name brand tools for sale.

“Any help keeping an eye out would be greatly appreciated!” she said.
