Several individuals were sent to area hospitals Saturday following a crash in Gainesville involving a 2004 Hyundai and a 2006 Ford Expedition.
According to police, there were no fatalities; however a 13-year-old passenger, who was not wearing restraints, was ejected from the car.
“All are expected to make full recoveries,” said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.
Prince William County Police charged a 43-year-old woman with disregarding a stop sign on Somerset Crossing Drive as she struck the SUV. She made a left turn in front of the vehicle.
There were three occupants from Gainesville in the 2004 Hyundai including the driver, a 16-year-old front passenger and the 13-year-old rear passenger, Perok said.
The Expedition was driven by a 44-year-old man from Gainesville.
