Prince William County Police responded to two residential burglaries in Gainesville.
According to the homeowner of the a residence in the 6900 block of Village Stream Place, a burglary occurred between 4 p.m. July 3 and 12:17 a.m. July 5.
"The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing."
Another home, located in the 6700 block of Kimberwick Court, was also burglarized between 5 a.m. June 19 and 12:30 p.m. June 30.
Perok said this residence also showed no signs of forced entry and money was stolen as well.
Police made no connection between the two incidents.
