Board of County Supervisors Chairman At-Large Corey Stewart, who is also the Virginia chairman of the Donald Trump Campaign, announced on Facebook Tuesday that his candidate was victorious in the first presidential debate.

"Trump wins first debate!" Stewart said. "Many of us already supporting Trump thought he missed some opportunities, but what's important is what undecideds thought."

Stewart provided a link to an article posted on Infowars, which claims to aggregate national polls following Monday night's debate. The headline of that article is "Poll: Trump Won First Presidential Debate - Hands Down!"

The site lists 33 polls by media outlets including Drudge Report, Fortune Magazine, NJ.com, Time.com, CBS NY, CNBC.com, Washington Times, Las Vegas Sun.com and Slate.com that declare Trump the winner, according to the outlets online polls.

"They thought he won," he said.

While Trump remains ahead in what Slate calls their "Totally unscientific online poll" Slate.com has not declare Trump its winner - far from it. "The winner of the first presidential debate is not up for debate," begins a Slate article entitled "Hillary Won the Debate. What Does that Mean for Hillary?"

This could be a reflection of the national media, which has largely favored Clinton in their post-debate discussions; and not necessarily a reflection of what the polls indicate.

Washington Post went for the jugular in dismissing polls in which Trump is ahead, declaring "No matter how garbage the poll, if it shows Donald Trump won the debate, he'll endorse it."  WaPo specifically lists the Drudge Report poll as unreliable.

People.com dismissed the reliability of almost all online polling, regardless of outcome, with the slug line "It Depends Which Poll You Trust." People goes on to say that online polls are simply not statistically accurate. "These surveys measure which nominee has 'the most energized online supporters.'"

Other polls show Clinton ahead, including a CNN/ORC poll where she won with 67 percent of the vote, last night. However, as votes continue to come in the poll is looking much different.

Those who supported one candidate before the debate are likely to stick with their man, or woman, and perhaps those people did not even view the television debate.

However, as Stewart noted, the real challenge for candidates will be to attract undecided voters.

In a CNN focus group self-identified undecided voters overwhelming declared Clinton as the winner of the debate 18:2 directly after it aired. Granted, 20 people is a small sampling of the American people.
