A narcotics investigation concluded Dec. 18 with the arrest of Richard James Ocksrider, 21, who was charged with several counts of possession of marijuana, mushrooms and a firearm.

Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit executed two warrants in an investigation into the selling of narcotics at 8626 Arbee Court in Nokesville and 12800 Kahns Road in Manassas.

“As a result of both searches, marijuana, mushrooms, packaging material, a handgun and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was recovered,” Prince William County Police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said.

Perok said that there was also a 17-year-old male juvenile connected to this investigation; charges are pending for the teen.

Police charged Ocksrider with 3 counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic (mushrooms) and possession of a firearm with narcotics.

A court date is set for Feb. 1, 2013; bond information is unavailable.
