EMPTY SHELTER PROJECT: Labrador-Shepherd for Adoption

Posted

Teagan is a female 2- to 3-year-old Labrador Retriever and Australian Shepherd Mix looking for a good home to call her own.

Teagy bear is a good dog! Her foster mom calls her “Teagers the Tiger.” She’s definitely a goofball and loves her bum scratched. She always has a smile on her face and a little happy wiggle in her step.

She’s a great girl! Teagan does have some guarding issues with food, but through training she has improved. We expect she will continue to show improvement if her adoptive family is consistent; we will show them the method that has worked thus far.

Otherwise she is not showing us any reason for concern.

Teagan is a mix of two beautiful and intelligent breeds. We expect her to find a home soon, maybe even with your family!

If you can see Teagan being the right pet for you, please contact the volunteers at the Empty Shelter Project (ESP) by phone: 571 288 2878 or 571 991 9642, email: adopt@espnova.org or find us on Facebook!

Besides Teagan, the ESP has a number of dogs and cats all needing to be adopted. They can help you find one right for you and your family.

The Empty Shelter Project is an all-volunteer foster-based animal rescue group in Prince William County dedicated to saving the lives of animals in danger of euthanasia in animal shelters across America. ESP also strives to help educate the public about issues regarding the pet overpopulation crisis to help prevent and decrease the amount of animals entering shelters annually. If you would like to learn more about becoming a foster parent for homeless pets, please contact us!
