UPDATED: Feb. 5, 8:15 p.m.

Police announced Arielle Elizabeth Shoemaker, who was reported as missing and endangered earlier this afternoon, has been located and is safe.

The Prince William County Police Department is asking residents for help in locating Arielle Elizabeth Shoemaker, 15, who was last seen at her residence located in the 6000 block of Upland Meadow Court in Gainesville around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon.

“Arielle is believed to have left her residence voluntarily and may be in need of assistance which qualifies her as being endangered,” police spokesman Officer Nathan Probus said.

Police describe her as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches,120lbs with blonde hair, and green eyes; she was last seen wearing a book bag, green coat, blue jeans, and black boots.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police at 703-792-6500.
