FBI agents charged two men, one of Bristow, with conspiracy to purchase and sell firearms without a license and export them to Jordan.

According to U.S. District Court documents, Samer Khaled Alhnaity, 36, a naturalized citizen who resides in Bristow, and Nader Arafat Fayez, 31, of Lorton, were charged with "conspiring to engage in the business of dealing in firearms without a federal firearms license and to ship and receive firearms in interstate or foreign commerce."

The June 18 raid on a residence in the 8700 block of Farnham Way in Bristow was the result of an extensive investigation that was initiated by an informant who warned the FBI that Alhnaity and Fayez were looking to purchase Glock pistols to ship overseas to gun stores in Jordan that Alhnaity claimed to own.

In March and April, undercover agents discussed with the men the sale of additional weapons, which resulted in their eventual arrest Wednesday.

No court date has been set as the investigation is still ongoing.

Prince William County Police confirmed the agency was involved in an investigation, but could not release any details about the nature of the raid.

According to witnesses, FBI agents broke down the door to the residence and removed two people, a male and a female.

One witness described the scene as tense; 15 FBI agents had their weapons drawn and the road blocked by agency-branded Humvees.

At 5 p.m., agents were still processing the scene removing boxes of evidence.
