The City of Manassas Fire and Rescue units responded to a house fire on Taney Road in the City of Manassas Sunday evening.

"The fire was put out in less than 19 minutes after first responders arrived on scene," said City of Manassas Public Affairs Specialist Patty Prince.

Seven residents were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

Prince said the fire started in the walls of the townhouse on Taney Road. The home is currently "uninhabitable due to fire and water damage plus partial loss of the roof," Prince said.

No one was injured in the fire.

According to Prince, the fire did not spread to the adjacent townhomes.
