Prince William County Police responded Aug. 9 to reports of a burglary in a residence located in the 14300 block of Newbern Loop in Gainesville.
According to the homeowner, the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. Aug. 8.
"There were no signs of forced entry," police spokesperson Officer Nathaniel J. Probus said. "The homeowner reported some food items missing."
