Allan Gordon Nock, 29, of Vint Hill Road in Gainesville was arrested Aug. 4.  He is alleged to be the driver in the hit & run death that occurred in the area of Vint Hill Road and Broadlands Road in Nokesville before 3 a.m. that morning.

According to Prince William Police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok, investigators from the Crash and Investigation Unit received information about a vehicle that may have been involved in the Monday morning crash that killed one man.

“Investigators located the vehicle, a 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada, parked in the 15600 block of Vint Hill, approximately three miles from the crash location,” Perok said.

The vehicle showed signs of being involved in a crash, and the investigators determined that the Oldsmobile was the “striking vehicle involved in the incident.”

Following an investigation, Nock was arrested. He is being charged with hit & run resulting in injury or death.

“Speed does not appear to be a factor in the crash,” Perok said.

The investigation will continue.

Nock secured a $25,000 bond for his release. His court date is scheduled for September 19, 2014.

Deceased Pedestrian Identified

Prince William Police were able to identify the victim of the hit & run as Ross Damon Adams, 36, of no fixed address.
