Prince William County Police charged Elizabeth Gissell Calquin-Osses, 34, of Gainesville with malicious wounding and reckless driving, following an alleged July 24 attack on an 18-year-old woman also of Gainesville.

The victim told police that on Friday at 2 a.m. Calquin-Osses was following her vehicle and forced her off the road in the area of the 10700 block of Bulloch Drive in Manassas.

"That vehicle’s driver forced the victim off the roadway and almost struck her bumper," police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok said. "The victim eventually stopped in the area above where the other driver, identified as the accused, exited her vehicle and approached her."

Perok said the suspect assaulted the victim multiple times with her fists and keys through the car's cracked window

"After the assault, the accused left the area and the victim contacted police," he said.  "The victim sustained minor injuries to her face."

Police eventually located Calquin-Osses at her Gainesville residence, where she was arrested and charged.

"Both parties were known to one another and this incident appeared to have stemmed from a previous encounter between the accused and the victim," he said.

The suspect's court date is Sept. 21, 2015 and bond information was unavailable.
