Prince William County Police are searching for an individual(s) who burglarized a residence located in the 14100 block of Catbird Drive in Gainesville and stole a handgun.
According to the homeowner, the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. Nov. 13 and 10 p.m. Nov. 14.
"The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door."
