Prince William County Police are investigating the death of a 3-month- old girl at an unlicensed day care operation located at a home at 13200 Sapphire Ridge Place in Bristow.
CBSDC reported that after the day care provider discovered the infant unconscious at 12:42 p.m., she was taken to the hospital where medical staff pronounced her dead.
At this time, Police do not suspect foul play was involved. The children who were present were released to their parents or guardians Thursday afternoon.
The investigation is ongoing and police announced that more details are forthcoming.
