Prince William County Police responded Oct. 8 to investigate a residential burglary in an apartment located in the 9900 block of Gardenia Lane in Bristow.
According to the resident of the apartment, the burglary occurred between 3 p.m. Sept. 26 and 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 27.
"The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence; entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear door," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "An iPod, valued around $300, was reported missing."
