Prince William County Police responded April 29 to the 6400 block of Catharpin Road in Gainesville to investigate a burglary.
According to the homeowner, the burglary occurred between April 15 at 2 p.m. and April 29 at 1:29 p.m.
"There were no signs of forced entry; entry was made through an unsecured door," police spokesperson Officer Ericca Figueroa said. "Miscellaneous jewelry and undisclosed amount of US Currency, valued around $3,000, were reported missing."
