Jewelry Stolen from Two Bristow Homes

Prince William County Police are investigating two residential burglaries in Bristow that resulted in stolen jewelry.

According to the homeowner of a residence in the 13400 block of Cunard Court, a burglary occurred between 6 a.m. Aug. 23 and 11 a.m. Aug. 30.

"The [Aug. 30] investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a basement level window," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. "Jewelry, valued around $1,700 was reported missing."

Officers also responded Aug. 31 at 10:38 p.m. to a residence in the 12900 block of Brigstock Court.

The homeowner told police that the burglary occurred between 2:30 p.m. July 26 and 10:15 p.m. Aug. 31.

"Entry was made into the home through a basement level window, which was forced open," Perok said. "Jewelry, valued around $2,700, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing."
