They believe she had been murdered.
Prince William Officers responded to the area of Cotton Mill Drive and Griffith Avenue in Woodbridge (22192), April 29 at 10:56 a.m., to investigate a found body.
The body is presumed to be Lizeth Yadira Lopez, 36, who was reported as missing and endangered, April 19, said Police spokesperson, Sgt. Jonathan Perok.
“The body was located near a drainage ditch in the above area,” Perok said, and will be transported to the medical examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
"At this time, he death is being investigated as a homicide," Perok said.
Police will release more information when available.
