Prince William County Police are investigating a burglary reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 6500 block of Alderwood Way in Gainesville.
According to the homeowner, the incident occurred between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Aug. 3
"The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence," police spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Perok said. "Mail was reported missing."
