Police responded to the 15500 block of Vint Hill Road in Gainesville on Nov. 22 for a report of a fight at a residence.

After an investigation, police charged Christian Isaac Graham, 38, with malicious wounding and assault & battery.

According to the victims, a 41-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both of Gainesville, they were both inside their residence when they heard their roommate, the accused, outside yelling.

“Upon confronting the accused, he assaulted the 33-year-old victim. The accused then became increasingly aggravated and, at one point, retrieved a knife and began swinging towards both victims, cutting the 41-year-old victim on his arm,” said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

Police report the accused fled but was located and arrested without further incident.

“Minor injuries were reported by both victims.” Perok said.
