Credit: Prince William Police DepartmentPolice arrested a Round Hill man for abducting, striking and sexually assaulting a woman in a Bristow home, Friday.
Prince William Police Officers responded to investigate an assault at a residence in the 9000 block of Solitary Place, Bristow just after 2 p.m., Oct. 14.
The victim, a 34-year-old woman, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that had escalated.
“During the encounter the accused held the victim to the ground and repeatedly struck her. The accused also began to inappropriately touch the victim before allowing her to get up from the ground,” police spokesperson,Sgt. Jonathan Perok said.
According to Perok, the victim immediately contacted the police following the assault. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries from the incident.
Following the investigation, Keith Allen Myers, 54, of Round Hill, Virginia, was arrested on charges of abduction, sexual battery and assault & battery.
His court date is pending. He is being held without bond.
