Manassas Man Attacked at Gainesville Residence

Prince William County Police charged Stefan Nicusor Greceanu, 19, and Eduard Gaman, 18, both of Gainesville, with malicious wounding following an alleged attack on a 22-year-old man from Manassas March 28.

According to police, the victim was with friends at a residence located in the 10600 block of Rembert Court in Gainesville, when he was attacked outside by the suspects, two acquaintances.

"Following the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified both men and obtained warrants for their arrest," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said."While attempting to arrest Stefan Greceanu on April 10 at his residence, Ionela Greceanu attempted to stop officers by obstructing the doorway."

Both Ionela and Stefan Greceanu were taken into custody without further incident, he said.

Police located and arrested Eduard Gaman April 12 without incident.

The court date for both men is May 12, 2015 and they are held without bond.

The bond information of Ionela Greceanu, who is charged with obstructing justice, is not available. Her court date is also May 12, 2015.
