Photo Courtesy of Prince William County PoliceDetectives from the Prince William County Police Department charged George Edward Coleman, 60, of Manassas Dec. 17 with multiple sexual assaults of an 11-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl in 2013.
The alleged incidents occurred at a residence in the 9900 block of Shallow Creek Loop in Manassas.
“The investigation revealed that the victims…were sexually assaulted on more than one occasion in 2013 by the accused, identified as a family member,” police spokesman Officer Nathan Probus said. “One of the victims recently disclosed the incidents to a known acquaintance who immediately notified police.”
Following an investigation, police charged Coleman with two counts of forcible sodomy , two counts of aggravated sexual battery, and two counts of indecent liberties by a custodian .
Coleman’s court date is pending and he is held without bond.
