Manassas Man Charged in Rape

Detectives from the Special Victims Unit of the Prince William County Police Department charged Daniel Antonio Arriaga, 53, of Manassas with the rape of a 37-year-old Manassas woman Nov. 13.

The victim told police that she and the accused were talking in a car parked in the area of  8948 Round Top Road in Manassas prior to the attack.

"During the encounter, the accused became angry and forcibly raped the victim," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok. "Following the investigation, the accused was arrested."

Arriaga's court date is pending and he is held without bond.
